HAZEL GREEN

Hazel Green: Self portrait

I was born in the Vale of Evesham to a market gardening family. My early life was spent outside playing, and then later working, on the land with its indelible sense of both toil and freedom.

After living and travelling in Scandinavia for some years I returned to England. My path lead back to the Vale where I trained at Pershore College of Horticulture. I am now a professional gardener based in the city of Worcester.

My interest in photography started in my early twenties and has developed into a real means of pleasure and expression. I nearly always have a small digital camera with me. I am particularly interested in everyday things and my surroundings. In their entirety or in close up.
